Keyence Microscopy

The Keyence Microscope allows AEI’s experts to capture fully focused images of evidence, artifacts, and exemplars at high magnification. In addition, 2D and 3D measurements can be taken and documented. This technology is very useful in metallurgical failure analysis and the identification of fracture patterns.

The lens system that AEI uses with the Keyence gives us the ability to provide:

• • Full color, digital optical microscopy up to 2,000x magnification
• • High-resolution, crossed-polarizer stress imaging of translucent samples
• • Materialographic imaging of polished, mounted specimens
• • Metallurgical phase and grain structure analysis
